You will assess mainly by recognising prior learning, observing, examining products of work, questioning, discussing and use of others (witness testimony).

This Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement course is an NVQ Assessor qualification aimed at candidates who do not observe candidates in their work place. This is suitable for teachers, lectures or anyone who assesses candidates in classroom or workshop environments. You will assess mainly by recognising prior learning, conducting tests, exams, assignments, projects, questioning and case studies.

This Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (TAQA) course is best NVQ Assessor qualification as it will allow you to assess candidates in classroom/workshop environments and their workplace.

[5] Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes
This Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes course is made up of one unit which does not require evidence of practice. The course is designed for individuals who want to have an idea regarding internal quality assurance practice. It has a 45 hours guided learning requirement.

This Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) course is made up of two units. Unit 1 focuses on the underpinning knowledge regarding the role of internal quality assurance. Unit 2 requires evidence of practice where you are expected to support at least two practitioners (teachers, assessors, coaches, trainers, EPA, mentors etc) and carry out a number of quality assurance activities.

This Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice course is made up of three units. Unit 1 focuses on the underpinning knowledge regarding the role of internal quality assurance. Unit 2 requires evidence of practice where you are expected to support at least two practitioners (teachers, assessors, coaches, trainers, EPA, mentors etc) and carry out a number of quality assurance activities. Unit 3 requires evidence of leading a team when carrying out a project (developing a course, seeking approval from an awarding body, or developing resources or an online platform etc).

This Level 3 Award in Education and Training course is made up of three units. This is an entry teacher training qualification. The qualification has replaced the old PTLLS qualification. The course has a 48 hours guided learning requirement which you have to meet by interacting with course staff. The total qualification time is 120 hours.

This Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (Teacher Training) course is made up of six units. Unit 1 focuses on roles and responsibilities. Unit 2 focus on planning and meeting the needs of learners. Unit 3 focuses on delivering education and training. Unit 4 is about assessing learners. Unit 5 is about using resources. Unit 6 is about inclusive practice. The qualification has replaced the old CTLLS qualification. And is aimed at those who work at associate role.

This Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (Teacher Training) course is made up of seven units. The qualification was initially mainly aimed as teaching qualification for the post-16 sector,further education. This has however changed with many teachers in academies both primary and secondary now taking this course as a route to be a recognised teacher. The qualification has replaced the old DTLLS qualification (Diploma to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector). The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training is generally regarded as equivalent to the second year of a UK undergraduate degree.
