We always want to say “Yes you can get qualified”. Our aim is to support you to achieve the qualification you have signed up for. Like any other good things in life there's a catch. We only extend our guarantee to candidates who meet all learning outcomes, assessment criteria and are willing to work hard. You are not signing up to buy a qualification.
Our guarantee promise is only applicable when you embrace our collaborative working values, shared responsibilities and commitment to meet the requirements of our regulators. You also have to work inline with the expectations of our stakeholders that includes good employers and members of the public.
Before you decide to commit you need to acquaint yourself regarding our expectations and how we deliver our courses. You need to also understand how vocational qualifications are naturally awarded by understanding the expected learning journey:
Learners are expected to demonstrate how they have met learning outcomes and the assessment criteria. Both internal and external quality assurers will expect evidence of how you have participated in the learning process. On the other hand, we are expected as a training provider to prove that we have delivered the courses we advertise.
Assessors are expected to assess all pieces of your work. One of our internal quality assurers will then sample part of their assessments and your evidence. (It might be possible where there's a large number of candidates for only a representative sample to be chosen for quality assurance).
External quality assurers conclude the last step before certification by monitoring the work of both our internal quality assurer and assessor as they sample your evidence. (It might be possible where there's a large number of candidates for only a representative sample to be chosen for quality assurance). A whole cohort can be certified based on the positive results of the representative sample.
As you can see from the stages above it is easy to for the work of one candidate to affect others and our reputation as a provider. We will not sign off candidates who have not bothered to take ownership and responsibility of their own work. Only candidates who have fully met all learning outcomes and the assessment criteria will be signed off. We take our responsibility seriously to protect our past, current and future our learners by ensuring our integrity is not compromised.
